Office of Grant Procurement, Coordination, and Management (Nevada Grant Office)
The Nevada State Grant Office provides a full range of grant support to include: the identification of funding opportunities, grant writing and editing, review of grant materials, developing collaborations, coordinating grant activities with internal and external partners, obtaining and developing data matrices, budget assistance, grant project management as well as technical assistance with grants.gov system or other grant management systems. The Grant Management team works to simplify the grant application processes by removing hurdles to receiving, managing and monitoring federal grant funds.
The Nevada Grant Office also develops, provides and coordinates grant-related training workshops and resources; ensures Nevada has submitted mandated and accurate state and federal grant information; serves as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Nevada grant applications; and works with agencies and sub-grantees to ensure compliance with federally mandated activities such as the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act (FFATA) and the Digital Accountability and Transparence Act (DATA).
State agencies are required by NRS 232.225 and Policy Directive #D-2014-03 to inform the Nevada Grant Management Office of their intent to submit for a grant; provide the application after submission; and provide a copy of the Notice of Grant Award (NOGA) or denial of funding. That information should be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org. These efforts work to foster intergovernmental partnerships in the coordination and review of proposed federal assistance and development to help Nevada in developing competitive applications to be successful in obtaining grants.
